    Unless the point is that neither should be released, this is disgusting.

    Yigal Amir is a murderer. Worse than that, he murdered the Prime Minister of Israel. One doesn't have to agree with his policies to recognize that murder (אל תרצח should familiar to anyone?) is אסור and super-forbidden by the Torah, let alone common decency and civil law.

    Of course the terrorists are also murderers. I don't mean the above to be a justifiction for prisoner release, either, but Amir murdered the Prime Minister of Israel who some poskim hold that position to be equal to מלך ישראל, the King of Israel. He's certainly no Zionist but rather a terrorist, no less than the Arab terrorists.
